Ralph Temple came to Ashland in 1996 to retire. Ha, not likely. "Retire" is not a word anyone would associate with Temple, who after his "retirement" took on local cause after local cause, often with positive effect.Temple died in 2011 but lives on through his legacy of fighting for social justice.
