    Golf
At Boise Idaho, Ashland native Jason Allred shot a 2-under par 69 at the Albertsons Boise Open on Friday but missed the cut by one stroke despite a solid 5-under showing through the first two rounds at Hillcrest Country Club.
Allred birdied holes three and 17 and was even par on every other hole.
That wasn't quite good enough at a course that yielded a 15-under two-day total for co-leaders Bill Lunde and Zack Sucher.
