    LGBT Potluck: A potluck luncheon for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered eldery individuals and allies will be from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 87 Fourth St. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share.     Nature Walks: Ashland Parks and Recreation will host free guided nature walks through at 10 a.m. Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Lithia Park. Participants meet at the Lithia Park entrance. Walks last about 90 minutes and cover a variety of topics about the park. Call 541-488-5340.
    Massage Demo: Free 30-minute massage demonstrations are held at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesdays at the Family Massage Education Center. Call 541-482-3567.
    Preschool Storytime: Preschool children and families can attend storytimes from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays at the library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd. Call 541-774-6995.
    Brass Rubbing: Volunteers from the Tudor Guild will lead workshops on creating souvenier brass rubbings from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays in the Bill Patton Garden behind the Elizabethan Theatre at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, 15 S.     BENEFIT CONCERT: A benefit concert and silent auction to bring back fifth-grade strings at Ashland schools is planned for Monday, July 21, at Mountain Avenue Theater at Ashland High School, 201 S. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Performers include Martin Majkut, Leslie Kendall and Ed Dunsavage, Scott Cole, Duan Whitcomb and more. The silent auction begins at 7 p.m., concert at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance at Paddington Station, $25 at the door, $10 for students.

    Family Art Day: The Schneider Museum of Art will offer family activities revolving around rarely seen items in its permanent collection from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the museum at Southern Oregon University, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd. Admission is free, and children can make an art project in the hands-on activity room.
