 Posted: 12:25 PM July 11, 2014

The movie "Chasing Ice: A Skeptic Connects the Dots in the Arctic" will be shown at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave., Medford.

The movie is being shown during a meeting of Southern Oregon Climate Action Now. Admission is free, but donations to SOCAN are encouraged.

The 2012 movie, directed by Jeff Orlowski, is a filmed account of James Balog's time-lapse photography of Arctic glaciers, which are receding dramatically. The 76-minute video will be shown in two parts with a brief panel and audience discussion after each part.
