The 25th annual Cuba Caravan will be in Ashland for events beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at First Presbyterian Church of Ashland, 1615 Clark Ave.
The annual caravan, which collects donations and delivers them to Cuba, is organized by Pastors for Peace. It tours the country to gather donations and raise awareness about conditions in Cuba.
At the Ashland event, a social hour begins at 6 p.m. The church will host a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m. At 7:15 p.m. Las Senores Locas, Afro-Cuban drummers and dancers, will perform and organizers will talk about their work.
