The event, dubbed the "Lepidopteran BioBlitz," will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the park. Those interested will join small teams of park staff, biologists and university students.
Registration for the event opens at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 9. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. All participants must pre-register no later than Wednesday, July 23. All participants must be over 18 or be accompanied by an adult if they are 12 or older.
For more information or to sign up, contact Science and Learning Center science coordinator Jherime Kellermann at 541-594-3149 or by email at jherime@firstname.lastname@example.org.
