Frank A. Serean III, passed away March 15, 2014 in Ashland, Ore. Frank was born May 24, 1942 in Boise, Idaho but grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and Portland, Ore. In his early 20s he moved to Gold Beach Ore. where he worked in lumber mills and as a surveyor. It was here that he met and married Linda Wells of Gold Beach. By the end of the 60s he was working for the state highway department on the coast all the way inland to Ashland, Ore. In 1970 Frank and Linda moved from Gold Beach and bought a small home in Ashland. It was there that they opened their home to numerous foster children throughout the years. Frank became a licensed contractor in 1970 and remained in business until 2008.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy; brother, David; his sons, Grady Golden, James Williams, and Adam Serean; and his eight grandchildren. He died peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 215 Joseph Dr., Talent, Ore.
