  • The Jackson County District Attorney's Office is on the lookout for volunteers to help in the office's victims' assistance program.
    The position is an on-call position with possible working days of Tuesday through Thursday, hours varied between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
    Volunteers should have strong communication skills, and should feel comfortable talking to law enforcement and people who are angry or upset.
    A criminal background check is required and candidates with a knowledge of criminal justice process are preferred.
