The Talent Chamber of Commerce will hold a three-day event celebrating local vineyards Friday, June 20, through Sunday, June 22, in downtown Talent.
The Southern Oregon Grape Fair kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday with the Talent Art & Music Festival. Local art, live music, food and beverages will be offered.
A passport of participating businesses will be available that day at Ray's Food Place, 215 Wagner St. Participants who get the passport filled out and turn it in at Tree House Oriental Antiques, 111 Talent Ave., will be entered into a drawing for 100 Talent Bucks, which are good for purchases at Talent Chamber of Commerce businesses. The winner will be announced on the event main stage at 1 p.m., Saturday.
The fair continues from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on Seibert and East Main streets in Talent. There will be music, dancing, entertainment, a kids activity area, games, food and beverage vendors and a wine and beer tent. The Talent Public Art Committee will also host a plein air painting competition, with competing artists starting, completing and framing a piece of art that day for judging.
The festival's final day is set for 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Chuck Roberts Park in Talent. The Bike Chata Memorial Race will include two bike events: a 20-mile race that starts at 8:30 a.m. and finishes in downtown Talent at the park and a family-friendly 4-mile bike ride starting at 9 a.m.
