  • The Oregon Housing and Community Services's Home Rescue Program is winding down.
The Home Rescue Program, funded by the Treasury Department's Hardest Hit Fund, has helped people who were laid off or had work hours cut pay their mortgage.
There are still opportunities to apply on cycles beginning today, May 28, June 11 and June 25. To check on your eligibility, go to www.oregonhomeownerhelp.org.
Application cycles open on noon every other Wednesday and close the following Tuesday at noon.
The Home Rescue Program provides up to 12 months or $20,000 in mortgage payment assistance and up to $10,000 in reinstatement benefits to qualified applicants.
