Britt Festivals' new Performance Garden will feature concerts by local bands, hands-on events for all ages and free concerts offered in coordination with Britt's Classical Festival and education programs.
The Performance Garden, located just inside the main gates at the Britt park, offers a smaller, more intimate venue, seating up to 150.
Programming was provided in part by an award from the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation. The inaugural lineup includes:

July 25: Project Trio
July 27: Rhythm at Britt: Shake, Rattle and Roll with the Shakerman
July 31: "Once Upon a Star" Classical Children's Concert
Aug. 7: Master Class with violinist Augustin Hadelich
Aug. 10: Chamber Music Concert I with members of the Britt Orchestra (free)
Aug. 13: Chamber Music Concert II with members of the Britt Orchestra (free)
Aug. 16: Improvisation Workshop with Time for Three
Aug. 24: Dabbling in Dance with Salsa Brava
Aug. 30: Patchy Sanders
Sept. 4: Mariachi Brittfest with Las Colibri / Mariachi Centella / Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegre
The Performance Garden also will serve as the setting for the Table Rock City pre-concert music series, Classical Festival pre-concert conversations, receptions and more. It also will be available to rent for weddings and special events.
