It feels good to feel good

Long-time Ashland, Ore. res-ident, Mark Jonathan Griffiths, 42, was born August 3, 1971 to Don and Cheryl Griffiths in Provo, Utah. Mark lost his life to cancer April 25, 2014 at his home in Ashland surrounded by friends and family.

Mark was, and continues to be, a great inspiration and teacher to those who had the fortune to know him. He was truly a friend to ALL regardless of who, what, or where they came from. Mark fully embraced the lessons in his life and was known for his generosity, wisdom, and great sense of humor. He was a talented torch artist, master gardener, and had a love for travel and the outdoors, music, and being with his family. Mark lived his life to the fullest every moment.

Mark is survived by his children, Athena, Makio, and Opie; his partner, Tracy; parents, Don and Cheryl; siblings, Ellen, Emily, Sharla, Matthew, Michael, and Susan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

His celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Lithia Park Cotton Memorial area, 344 Granite St., Ashland, OR 97520. Friends, family, and children are wel-come to join in the celebra-tion. Please bring a personal token for Mark's altar and LOTS of love. There will be places to picnic and visit so bring something to share. Water and juice will be pro-vided. Come celebrate LIFE!

A trust fund for Mark's children has been established and, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made at Wells Fargo Bank to the Mark Griffiths Children Trust.
