  • The weather has warmed, and you know what that means: yard sales. Some cities have developed citywide yard sales that include dozens of homes with maps available of sale locations. Here's a list:

  • The weather has warmed, and you know what that means: yard sales. Some cities have developed citywide yard sales that include dozens of homes with maps available of sale locations. Here's a list:
    Friday-Sunday, May 2-4
    The annual spring Eagle Point Golf Course Community yard sale will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The event encompasses neighborhood sales throughout the golf course community. From Highway 62, turn at Shasta Avenue, then onto Alta Vista and take Eagle Point Drive. Watch for sale signs on Eagle Point Drive, RT Jones Boulevard, Arrowhead Trail, Glenwood Drive and all side streets and cul-de-sacs in between.
    Saturday, May 3
    The Central Point Citywide Yard Sale included more than 200 addresses last year. The city provides a map to help shoppers find their way around town. Participants who'd like to be included on the map need to register by 4 p.m. Monday, April 28. Contact City Hall at 541-664-3321.
    The Gold Hill Historical Society and Museum will hold a large rummage sale to help restore the "Lucky Bart Stamp Mill" from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Old Morrow's Hardware Building, 376 Second Ave., Gold Hill.
    Saturday, May 10
    The city of Talent will hold its communitywide event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Maps of participating locations will be available starting May 1 at Ray's Food Place, Talent City Hall and the Talent library. On the day of the sale, they'll also be available at the ODP Schoolhouse, 309 W. Main St. To participate in this sale, a sign-up sheet can be found at Ray's Food Place through Friday, April 25. It costs $5 to sign up and be included on the map.
    Radio Medford will hold what it calls "Southern Oregon's largest garage sale" from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with early-bird specials at 7 a.m., at The Expo in Central Point. The sale is open to the public, as well as sellers and buyers. Admission will cost $2 for adults, free for kids 12 and younger. Early birds pay $10 to get in early.     Phoenix will hold its citywide yard sale. Hosted by the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, the sale often finds downtown business owners hosting sidewalk sales, as well.
    Friday-Sunday, June 13-15
    The annual Rogue Valley Manor sale features everything from housewares and jewelry to sporting goods and electronics at the Medford Armory. The sale will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 15.
    The annual Eagle Point City Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, June 14. It's coordinated by the Upper Rogue Independent.
    Friday-Saturday, Sept. 5-6
    The Jacksonville Citywide Yard Sale is well known for its supplies of vintage collectibles and antiques. The Jacksonville sale typically runs from sunrise to sunset, with some residents joining together, while businesses spread their wares along the city's main roadways and on the old courthouse grounds.
    Friday-Sunday, Sept. 26-28
    The Eagle Point Golf Course Community group will hold its fall sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. (See directions above).
