Pamela Britton and Edmond O'Brien in "D.O.A."
 Posted: 2:00 AM April 17, 2014

Accountant Frank Bigelow (Edmond O’Brien) goes to San Francisco for a week of fun, but soon learns he’s been poisoned and that there is no antidote to save him. With only days to live, Bigelow sets out to find his murderer in the 1950’s “D.O.A.” Show time is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Christian Church of Ashland, 31 B St. At 8 p.m., detective Philo Vance (William Powell) must solve a murder the police have ruled a suicide in the 1933 mystery “The Kennel Murder Case.” Nostalgic, drive-in snack-bar reels and vintage coming-attraction previews will show between films. A snack bar will be open most of the evening. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
