Singer and songwriter Jesse Brewster plays a mix of guitar-driven rock 'n' roll and acoustic ballads. The San Francisco-based musician's 2011 CD, "Wrecking Ball at The Concert Hall," is the album that Brewster feels earned him wider recognition.
"This is the album I've been wanting to make for some time," he says in a press release. "It's a collection of songs that truly reflect who I am as an artist, a place every songwriter wants to be."
Brewster will perform songs from "Wrecking Ball" and songs from an album in the works, "March of Tracks," at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at The Playwright Public House, 258 A St., Ashland.
He will be accompanied by singer and songwriter Allyson Paige.
