Solve the drought of people on Mt. A
Because Mount Ashland has been suffering a severe drought in snow, it has also been suffering a severe drought in people. For the first time in 50 years, the smiles, thrills, and thank yous from thousands of happy men, women, and children were missed by the mountain this year.
This drought in happiness can be solved easier than the drought in snow, just join us from 1 to 3 p.m. this Tuesday afternoon up at the ski area for the eighth annual multicultural ceremony, "Blessing Mt. Ashland." There will be no speeches or sermons, simply uninterrupted prayers, spoken and musical, from some really wonderful people: Rabbi Joshua Boettiger and Cantor Bella Feldman, Nancy Bloom, Prema Mayi and Krsna Deva, Windsong, Sara Tone, the Rogue Valley Peace Choir Ensemble, Suzanne Mathis McQueen and Amari Gold, Devon Strong, Libby Goines and more.
You'll be happy you came, and the mountain will be, too.
