  • The Rogue Valley Winegrowers Association will present a half-day marketing workshop in May to help wineries boost sales.
Jean Yates, president of Oregon Wine Marketing, will lead the workshop, which runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, at the OSU Extension Center Auditorium, 569 Hanley Road, Central Point.
Yates owned Avalon Wine in Corvallis for 26 years before launching her wine-marketing business in 2013. She will discuss websites, online directories and reviews, search engine optimization, email marketing and providing information on smartphones.
Space is limited and advance registration is required. Email Marilyn Hawkins, mhawkins@prhawk.com, to secure a seat.
The workshop costs $20, payable at the door in cash or check made out to Rogue Valley Winegrowers Association. No refunds will be given after registration, but seats are transferable, organizers said.
For information, contact Hawkins at mhawkins@prhawk.com or 541-552-9922.
