DAR meeting features talk on Ginger Rogers

Crater Lake Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, at the Jackson County Genealogy Library, 3405 S. Pacific Highway, Medford.

Paul Becker will present a program on Ginger Rogers, who was a member of DAR and a longtime resident of the Rogue Valley.

A slate of officers for the upcoming term, which runs through 2016, will be presented to the members for their consideration. All current and prospective members are encouraged to attend.

Canceled stamps, which are donated to veterans, and labels and boxtops for education, which support DAR schools, will be collected. For more information or directions, please call 541-245-6699.
