BEND — Georgia Williams struck out 13 batters to power the Ashland High softball team to its first win of the season, 11-1, over Sisters, after the Grizzlies fell 13-8 to Redmond in the second day of the Central Oregon Tournament Tuesday.

Ashland's Grace Lenthe provided all the run support Williams would need against Sisters, blasting a grand slam in the Grizzlies' six-run fourth inning.

Against Redmond, Ashland (1-5) let an 8-4 lead slip away. Lenthe was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs, giving her seven RBIs on the day.
