 Posted: 2:05 PM March 24, 2014

Hugh Laurie, the award-winning British producer, writer and actor whose roles have ranged from the abrasive doctor in "House" to the goofy aristocrat in "Jeeves & Wooster," is coming to the Craterian Theater in May.

Craterian Performances this afternoon announced Laurie will perform New Orleans and Heartland American blues with the Copper Bottom Band on May 24.

Laurie is an accomplished musician/composer whose albums are global hits. He's touring internationally after the release of his acclaimed recordings "Let Them Talk" and "Didn't It Rain."

Laurie and the band are currently touring in South America, then moving on to New Zealand and Australia before hitting the U.S. and Mexico in May.

Tickets for the Craterian show are $58, $55 and $52. Priority presale for Craterian members will be available Tuesday through Thursday by phone or walk-up only. Sales open online and to general public on Friday.

The Craterian can be reached at the box office, 16 S. Bartlett, Medford; online at; or by phone at 541-779-3000.
