  • Los Angeles rock band State to State creates melodic and atmospheric anthems.
Drawing influences from bands such as U2, Radiohead and Sigur Ros, State to State — featuring vocalist and guitarist Shea Stratton, guitarist Andrew Orvis, bassist Patrick Morgan and drummer Michael Schneider — self-released its debut, full-length album "No Bounds" on Feb. 25. Songs such as "Comprehension Headache" and "Bring Out Your Dead" feature a tight and dynamic foundation by Schneider and Morgan, while Stratton's voice and Orvis' lead guitar soar over the top.
State to State will play at 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Club 66, 1951 Ashland St., Ashland. There is a $3 cover.
