Help count birds at North Mountain Park

 Posted: 12:06 PM January 16, 2014

The public can learn to identify bird species and help count them at the North Mountain Park bird feeders in Ashland on Saturday.

Project FeederWatch volunteers will help people spot birds from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the park's pavilion.

The event is free and no registration is required.

All information collected by the count will be submitted to Cornell University's Project FeederWatch, a nationwide bird monitoring effort. The Rogue Valley Audubon Society hosts the Ashland event.
