SOU president to discuss retrenchment

 Posted: 9:50 AM December 05, 2013

Southern Oregon University President Mary Cullinan will hold a campus forum to discuss the status of retrenchment from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. today in the Meese Auditorium in the art building, adjacent to the Schneider Museum of Art, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.

Cullinan will be joined by SOU student body President Tommy Letchworth and Faculty Senate President Dave Carter to speak to SOU students, faculty and staff.

Wednesday marked the end of a comment period on Cullinan's retrenchment plan to cover a $5 million shortfall this biennium. Retrenchment would allow reductions, reconfigurations or eliminations of academic programs.
