Ashland Boy Scouts sell Christmas trees

 Posted: 1:05 PM December 03, 2013

Ashland's Boy Scout Troop 112 plans its 55th annual Christmas tree sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15.

The sale will take place in the Elks Lodge parking lot at Lithia Way and First Street in downtown Ashland. Noble fir trees from a tree farm and trees scouts cut in the woods will be sold. The proceeds help support the troop's activities throughout the year, organizers said.

Prices range from $10 to $50 for the trees. The scouts also will have some decorated wreaths available for $20.

Scouts will help customers select trees, then carry selections to customers' cars and tie the trees on top.

For more information about the Troop 112 or the Christmas tree sale, call Scoutmaster John Engelhardt at 541-482-8222.
