Ashland Fire & Rescue will donate a $2,200 defibrillator to the Ashland Senior Center during tonight's third annual Thanksgiving dinner at the facility.
The Ashland Firefighters Charitable Funds group will donate a Physio-Control Automated External Defibrillator, meant to help anyone who has sudden cardiac arrest up to five minutes after the person collapses.
Dinner, provided by the department, will also include six turkeys, two hams, 50 pounds of potatoes, pies and trimmings. More than 80 seniors, guests and firefighters are expected to attend.
