Forum on tech investment coming

Skip Sponsel of Emerging Tech Accelerator in Portland will discuss corporate investment in new technology at this year's Venture Forum Dinner in Ashland.

Bruce Laird, business recruitment officer emeritus for Business Oregon will moderate a panel discussion about raising corporate capital for high-tech projects. Jennifer Fox, executive director of OTRADI, Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute; Skip Rung, executive director of ONAMI, Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute; Ken Vaugh, director of commercialization programs for Oregon Best; Scott Goddin, Director of the Portland U.S. Export Assistance Center; Alice Yan Qian, marketing and development for International Tech Corporation; and Greg Lemhouse, global fleet development director for Brammo Inc., will all be on hand

Sustainable Valley Technology Group and the Southern Oregon University School of Business sponsor the event at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Stevenson Union.

The cost is $45 per person. The cost to sponsor a table is $400 and includes dinner for 8 and company logo included in promotional material.
