  • Aspen and Sunset campgrounds at Lake of the Woods in western Klamath County are now closed for the season and the lake's resort off Highway 140 will remain open Fridays through Sundays, according to the Klamath National Forest.
The resort will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturday as well as 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, according to the Klamath Forest.
Also, visitors to the Rainbow Bay Day Use Area and boat ramp will still find open restrooms there.
Fourmile Lake Campground remains open and no camping fees will be charged, but the campground's water sources have been shut off and the garbage cans removed. The restrooms are open, but campers need to bring their own toilet paper, according to forest spokeswoman Erica Hupp.
Valid Sno-Park permits are required for parking beginning Nov. 1.
