Ashland police release video of vandals

 Posted: 2:00 AM September 05, 2013

Ashland police have released surveillance footage of two men vandalizing property on Will Dodge Way in the hope it will lead to their arrest.

Officers are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who spray-painted several downtown structures, utility boxes and Dumpsters during the night of Aug. 2. The video can been viewed at www.dailytidings.com/video.

The suspects appear to be between the ages of 18 and 25. The video shows the two walking down Will Dodge Way "tagging" almost everything in their path with silver and black paint.

An Ashland police release said 13 victims have been identified so far. Because the damage totaled at least $1,000, the vandals could be cited with first-degree criminal mischief if caught, according to Deputy Chief Corey Falls. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ashland Police Department at 541-482-5211.
