Jackson County Sheriff's Department detectives investigating the disappearance of a Ruch woman want to talk to people who were at the Ruch Country Store, 7350 Highway 238, on the evening of July 4.
They especially want to talk to a group of young men seen at the store in a green Chevy extra cab pickup, the department said in a news release. Thought to be in their late teens or early 20s, they were said to be headed to camp at Applegate Lake.
Investigators hope the men might have noticed something related to the disappearance of Stephanie Ann Warner, 43, who was last seen at the Ashland Fourth of July parade, although her vehicle was found back at her Ruch home.
Search crews have combed the hills around her rural home and investigators have talked to her friends and family.
Now authorities are looking for people who were at the Ruch Country Store between 5 and 7 .m. July 4, hoping to find anyone who might have information that could help in the case, officials said.
The news release said the young men in the green truck aren't suspects or persons of interest, but investigators think they could have "information to assist with the investigation."
Investigators ask anyone who was at the store or has other details about the case to call the department's tip line at 541-774-8333. Leave a message with information and a detective will call back, officials said.
