Folk concert planned

 Posted: 12:15 PM July 29, 2013

Traveling troubadours inspired by the work of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Lee Hays and Mill Lampell will present a concert to raise money for a local social justice coalition.

"Totem Pole" Rik Palieri and George Mann perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at the Grass Shack Hawaiian Cafe, 205 Fern Valley Road, Phoenix. A meet-and-eat event starts at 6 p.m.

A donation of $10 is suggested to attend, but no one will be turned away. Southern Oregon Jobs with Justice presents the show. The money raised will go to Health Care for All Oregon and its campaign to bring comprehensive, healthcare to all Oregonians.
