Police calls

Monday, 7:50 a.m. — Police took a man into protective custody after he was found to be a danger to himself in the 800 block of Clay Street.

Monday, 11:31 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old man on charges of disorderly conduct, reckless driving and hit-and-run property damage in the area of Lithia Way and North Second Street.

Monday, 2:54 p.m. — Police arrested a 35-year-old man on charges of disorderly conduct II, resisting arrest, harassment and criminal mischief II in the first block of South Pioneer Street. He was additionally cited for drinking in public and public nudity in the Bill Patton Garden. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.

Monday, 5:08 p.m. — Police cited a 49-year-old man for disorderly conduct for fighting in the Safeway parking lot.

Monday, 8:03 p.m. — Police investigated a reckless burning incident that caused a grass fire on railroad property in the 700 block of A Street.
