 Posted: 12:05 PM July 15, 2013

Author Webster Young, a former Ashland resident, will talk about and sign copies of his award-winning book, "Berkeley-Paris Express: A Memoir of Growing Up in Music, Dismissal from Music School, and Discovering New Sanity for the Arts," at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 15, at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way.

Young will talk about his search for meaning in art and music and his journey to become a successful neoclassical composer. Classical guitarist James Edwards will perform, and art by Young's mentor and uncle, Ashland artist Kenneth Frantz, will be displayed.

Admission is a $5 suggested donation. Look for "Berkeley-Paris Express" on Facebook for more information.
