Nancy Louise Sweet, 70, of Central Point, Ore. died peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Nancy was born in Franklin, N.H. on September 27, 1942 to parents Antonio Pieroni and Mary Pieroni (Schuitema), their second child. She grew up and was educated in Manchester, N.H. After migrating west to California where she resided for ten years, she moved to Southern Oregon and raised her family.
As the "go-to" person for so many, Nancy's generosity and compassion always came through. The word "NO" never entered her vocabulary. Somehow, while caring for everyone else, Nancy found time for the things she enjoyed doing so much with her family. She loved fishing, camping, hunting, gardening, and everything that kept her in the great outdoors. She enjoyed sewing crafts, cooking and decorating for and with her family.
Nancy will be remembered by her three loving children, Tracey, Stephanie, and Tony; daughter-in-law, Sarah; grandchildren, Kendal, Charlie, and Andrew Sweet. She is also survived by her brothers, Tony Pieroni of Rogue River and Chris Schuitema of Manchester, N.H.; sister, Dorothy Curtis also of Manchester, N.H. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind a large extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date yet to be determined. Please visit roguevalleyfunerals.com for updates.
