Four people reportedly on their way to Portland were injured this morning when a delivery truck they were traveling in rolled off Interstate 5 and down a hill near the Mount Ashland exit.
Nick Baalman, an engineer and paramedic with Ashland Fire & Rescue, said he thought the truck was parked on the side of the freeway when it tumbled, strewing clothes, plastic bins and a water cooler down the hillside.
Ashland Fire & Rescue, Jackson County Fire District No. 5, Oregon State Police and Oregon Department of Transportation responded to the crash, which was reported about 10:30 a.m.
Four people were taken by ambulance to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
