  • On June 3, 2013, Robert "Bob" Jones passed away due to complications from a stroke. Bob was born February 6, 1934 in Newberg, Ore., to Harold and Lena Jones. He was the brother to Loucele and Frances.
Bob was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his discharge he went to work for International Harvester for many years, retiring in 1999 from Webfoot Trucking in Medford.
Bob loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and 4x4 pulling. His garden was his pride and joy. Nothing made him happier than sharing the fruits of his labor with neighbors and friends. Another love was golfing. Bob loved to travel to different courses and enjoyed the camaraderie with friends after each round.
He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Wanda Jones. We shall honor his wishes of no services or memorial.
Bob was a strong and wonderful man. He will be greatly missed.
