Twice Born Gypsies

 Posted: 8:15 AM June 06, 2013

Ashland's Twice Born Gypsies will play at 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Caldera Tap House, 31 Water St. Ashland. Formed earlier this year, the band is Kimber Parris on rhythm guitar, Jason Sallas on drums, Zack Karr on bass and David Bartman on synthesizer.

Their music, which has been labeled "philosophical, operatic, psychedelic rock" or "space rock," is inspired by Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd and King Crimson, and contains elements of jazz, bebop and funk.

Twice Born Gypsies will share the bill with versatile Ashland band Good Job Honey. The cover is $3 to $5. See twiceborngypsies on Facebook.
