Police reports

Friday, 3:45 p.m. — Stolen hammer reported, 300 block of Oak Street.

Friday, 12:34 p.m. — Lost briefcase recovered, first block of Winburn Way.

Friday, 6:22 p.m. —43-year-old man cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and arrested on a warrant, 2300 block of Ashland Street.

Friday, 8:31 p.m. — Possible abuse reported.

Friday, 11:05 p.m. — 30-year-old woman arrested on a warrant out of Medford Municipal Court, E. Hersey Street and N. Mountain Avenue.

Friday, 10:14 p.m. — 56-year-old man cited and released on the strength of a felony warrant through Josephine County, E. Main and S. Third streets.

Saturday, 2:45 a.m. — Burglary reported, first block of Hillcrest Street.

Saturday, 11:59 p.m. — Burning paper dropped into a garbage can started a fire on the 400 block of Wightman Street. The garbage can was taken outside and turned upside down, smothering the fire. No damage.

Saturday, 8:53 p.m. — 24-year-old man arrested on a warrant, 100 block of Lithia Way.

Saturday, 7:47 p.m. — Theft reported, 1600 block of Ashland Street.

Saturday, 6:42 p.m. — 19-year-old man charged with trespassing, 400 block of S. Mountain Avenue. Lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

Sunday, 1:06 a.m. — 53-year-old man charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, Ashland Street near Tolman Creek Road.

Sunday, 3:43 a.m. — 24-year-old man, 25-year-old man and 26-year-old man charged with criminal trespassing, 300 block of Wightman Street.

Sunday, 4:15 p.m. — Woman taken into protective custody and transported to Rogue Regional Medical center for evaluation, 1500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Sunday, 8:46 p.m. — 42-year-old man cited and released on a Curry County warrant, 300 block of Tudor Street.

Monday, 12:33 a.m. — Person charged with fourth-degree assault, first block of N. Main Street.
