Southern Oregon University's Sydney White and Stephanie Vandenbusch received all-Cascade Collegiate Conference softball recognition.
White landed first-team honors, and Vandenbusch received honorable mention as the conference released its postseason honors.
White led the conference in numerous pitching categories as a freshman. She ranked first in appearances (22), starts (16) and innings pitched (112.1); ranked second in strikeouts (76), shutouts (3) and wins (11) and was third in opponent batting average (.233).
White tallied a 3.18 ERA and 11-6 record.
Vandenbusch followed up her co-newcomer-of-the-year honor last season by hitting .300 with a .434 on base percentage and a .563 slugging percentage during the 2013 conference season. She led the CCC with four triples and tied for eighth with 21 RBIs and was hit by a pitch a league-high 13 times.
She also led the Raiders with four home runs and 45 total bases.
Southern Oregon concluded the 2013 season two weeks ago on a five-game winning streak to end the year with a 20-21 overall record. The Raiders' 16-12 conference mark was good for fifth place.
Former Ashland High player Ethan Schlecht, a freshman at Oregon Tech, was named to the all-NAIA West Group Team.
The third baseman batted .283 in 40 starts, including 39 hits and nine doubles, for the Owls. They were 20-36 overall and 11-17 in conference, making it to the NAIA West tournament.
