Look for several of Southern Oregon's favorite bands this weekend at Alex's Plaza Restaurant, 35 N. Main St., Ashland.
The Friends of Frank Music Jubilee, a benefit concert for Ashland Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society, will kick off at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 5, and will feature performances by The Detlef Eismann Orchestra with Dal Carver, the Paul Schmeling Trio with Calysta Cheyenne, Jef Fretwell and the Detractors, Frankie Hernandez, The Rogue Suspects, David Pinsky and The Rhythm Kings, and Robbie DaCosta.
There also will be a raffle and silent auction courtesy of local artists, restaurants, wineries and businesses.
Frank Dalziel, a nine-year cancer survivor and participant of Ashland of Relay for Life, began hosting Music Jubilee four years ago. He says it was his way of giving back to the community that supported him throughout his treatments.
Admission is a $10 suggested donation. For more information and a schedule of performances, see www.alexsrestaurantandbar.com.
