The National Weather Service has issued an early-morning frost warning for Tuesday in Jackson County.
The advisory is scheduled to run from 3 to 7 a.m., when temperatures could dip as low as 33 degrees, thanks to a weak inversion that will settle in the area. Sensitive vegetation could be damaged or killed if left unprotected, forecasters said.
The high temperature on Tuesday will be 67 degrees, a disparity of about 20 degrees compared to Friday's predicted high. Weather officials are also calling for 80-degree highs Wednesday and Thursday.
