“Chinese Year of the Water Snake” includes documents and artifacts that illustrate the history of Ashland’s Chinese community and will be displayed through Sunday, April 14, at the Ashland Historic Railroad Museum, 258 A St., No. 11. The exhibit also looks at Chinese New Year celebrations in the 1890s and early 1900s in Ashland’s railroad district. A collection of Chinese antiques on loan from Tree House Oriental Antiques in Talent also will be displayed. Museum hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
