Burgers, sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes are straightforward but served hot and fresh at lower prices than almost anywhere in town. Michael "Uzi" Ulizzi's years in the kitchen are evident in the array of fare that has something for everyone. With a stage its focal point, the sparsely decorated space is ringed with well-worn booths, filled in with tables and chairs.
Recommended: Chili-taco salad is an attractive mix of toppings on shredded lettuce surrounded by tortilla chips; eggplant is nicely fried, but not soggy, and well-balanced with marinara sauce and mozzarella on a sandwich.
Alternative diets: Vegetarian pasta dishes and burger; breaded eggplant patty available as a burger or sandwich.
Beverages: Liquor license due any day, bringing local wines by the glass and bottled and canned beers; until then, bottled sodas, waters, energy drinks, milk, and hot tea and coffee are available.
