Ernest Jack Anthony passed away February 12, 2013 in Portland, Ore.
A celebration of life will be held at Finley-Sunset Hills Chapel in Portland, Ore. at 2:00 p.m. February 23, 2013.
Ernest was born November 3, 1919 in Verdun, Okla. He was married May 12, 1984 in Gold Hill, Ore. He served as a USMC sergeant for five years in WWII in the S. Pacific and China. He worked as a pipefitter, and was a member of the So. California Pipefitter's Union for 55 years. He also attended Westminster Presbyterian in Medford, Ore. Ernest enjoyed playing with his dog, Suzie, fishing and the pond, building and refurbishing homes, and was an avid read of history and news. He also enjoyed a long retirement - retiring in 1974!
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Anthony; three step-children (and spouses); 10 grandchildren; and four great-granchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, and brother.
