The National Weather Service has issued an air stagnation advisory for the Rogue Valley and other inland valleys across Southern Oregon.
The advisory, issued this afternoon, will be in effect from 4 a.m. Tuesday until 4 a.m. Saturday.
Lack of air movement increases the potential for poor air quality, the weather service reported.
The Department of Environmental Quality reported that air quality in Medford was moderate on Monday, while Shady Cove showed good air quality.
Jackson County air quality officials listed Monday as a "green" day with no restrictions on the use of woodstoves. No information for Tuesday has been posted yet.
