Southern Oregon University senior Tye Austin Hoseclaw received first place in the International American Protege Piano & Strings Competition, professional division, according to a news release.

Southern Oregon University senior Tye Austin Hoseclaw received first place in the International American Protege Piano & Strings Competition, professional division, according to a news release.

Hoseclaw, a 23-year-old music performance major and classical guitarist, will be featured in a winners' recital at Carnegie Hall in New York City March 3.
