Ashland Fire-Rescue crews will burn brush piles through the rest of the day in the Ashland watershed as part of the ongoing Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project.
Smoke from the burns could impact visibility and air quality for White Rabbit, Caterpillar and Queen of Hearts trails, officials said. Smoke might be seen from parts of Ashland.
Additional burn information is posted online at www.ashlandwatershed.org and on the city's smoke and wildfire hotline at 541-552-2490.
