Ashland Fiber Network will be offline from 11:55 p.m., Monday, Jan. 28 to 8 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, so workers can increase bandwidth and reconfigure the network.
"There is never an ideal time to schedule upgrades to the AFN system," IT manager Mike Ainsworth said in a news release. "AFN customers are online at all hours of the day, but we had to pick a date and time and selected late night on a Monday hoping it would have the least impact on our customers."
AFN customers who still cannot get online after 8 a.m. should unplug their cable modem, wait a full 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
