 Posted: 12:00 PM January 15, 2013

The Jackson County Commissioners recently appointed two new members to the Jackson County Fair's Board of Directors, county officials reported.

Ashland resident Jim Teece and Medford resident John Anhorn will both serve three-year terms. They replace outgoing members June Brock and Leigh Johnson. Brock and Johnson served on the board 15 years and 18 years, respectively.

Board members are tasked with management of the Jackson County fairgrounds, now known as The Expo.

Teece has been a fair volunteer since 1995 and was involved in developing the fair's Technology Pavilion. Anhorn has been involved with 4-H and several other groups that utilize The Expo.
