Keep New Year's fitness resolutions

A licensed and registered fitness specialist and dietitian will speak on the importance of exercise and good nutrition habits for seniors from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the Ashland YMCA.

The program will be about how exercise and good nutrition choices can help seniors remain independent.

The event is open to the public. Attendees should bring a sack lunch.
