The Blues Barons

Local bluesmen from various bands will convene for a night of Chicago blues.

The band, which calls itself The Blues Barons, is drummer Tom Stamper (Modern Prometheus Jazz Co., The Robbie DaCosta Band and Muskadine Blues Band), harmonica player Mark Adams (Muskadine Blues Band and Duke Street), bassist John Hauschild (Bluesdusters, Karen Lovely Band and Duke Street) and guitarist Leonard Griffee (Karen Lovely Band).

The Blues Barons will cover songs by Muddy Waters, Little Walter, James Cotton, B.B. King, Bo Diddley and others at 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Alex's Plaza Restaurant and Bar, 35 N. Main St., Ashland. The cover charge is $5. Call 541-482-8818.
